MINÁRIK HAD A SUCCESSFUL SEASON, NOW HE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS BIKE

Very successful. These words can characterize the season that 12-year-old Kryštof Minárik, a keen snowboarder and a Kilpi Racing Team member, experienced. He won five out of six of the Czech Cup races and he also made his mark in Austria where the competition was even greater.
He is among the top racers in his category. In the winter, the talented snowboarder confirmed the fact without any doubt. He secured the overall victory in the Czech Cup at the end of March by winning five out of six races. That is quite a dominance… “Overall, I, therefore, consider the season successful,” balances Kryštof Minárik, who is very keen on other sports as well, by the way. Like floorball, for example.
He also managed to make his mark at the races in Austria. He always managed to finish no worse than fifth in all the races of the local cup which is a success, considering the race rosters. His is not going to throw his snowboard with a shining Kilpi logo to the corner, yet. He is going to Kaunertal glacier in Austria at the end of April and beginning of May. This time, there could also be some fun along with the drill. “I always love this event as we ride there for fun, testing new stuff,” said the successful Kilpi Racing Team member.
He is slowly planning the next season already. He would like to be even better. He definitely isn't intending to rest on his laurels. “I would like to get better in everything. I am going to improve my technique and train my physical strength,” plans the snowboarder, who adores Ester Ledecká, a double Olympic champion, and a keen athlete. Like her, Minárik does multiple sports, too.
And he cannot wait to release the steam in the months to come. “I would like to ride a bike a lot and I am planning to take part in at least two bike races. I'm also going to hike in the mountains and do a bit of whitewater rafting with my dad,” he plans.
Finally, he adds: “I'm really looking forward to the next season!” He believes it will be at least as successful as the last one. He definitely does not lack the verve and enthusiasm.
